InElam (for Innovation Elam) is the successor project of the Elam project (Nepali for entrepreneurship). Within the framework of this project, Helvetas has been extremely successful in promoting entrepreneurship in Nepal. Between 2017 and 2020, Elam developed promising local value chains in six provinces and provided targeted support and guidance to budding entrepreneurs. As a result, beneficiaries have already created over 1,500 businesses and over 11,000 jobs.

Building on this experience, InElam aims to further strengthen already developed value chains and businesses and develop additional business ideas and models in Madhesh and Karnali provinces between 2021 and 2024.
