Earning own money again
In Central Switzerland, the Happel Foundation supports people in their return to work. To this end, it works together with institutions that provide intensive support to those affected. The common goal is to free those affected from social welfare in the long term through permanent employment.
In this context, the commitment of the persons concerned is a central point; the support is an aid to self-help. The persons concerned must complete the agreed training or further education and successfully complete it.
Modern computer technology / IT
Regardless of the occupational field, IT is used everywhere. Those who have not worked in their profession for a long time therefore find it difficult to reenter the workforce. That’s because their knowledge is now outdated.
Refresher training courses
Through appropriate training courses, those affected can refresh their existing knowledge. Afterwards, they are up to date and can find employment again more easily on this basis.
Need to change profession
Sometimes external circumstances also force people to reorient themselves professionally. This can be, for example, a family emergency situation or the professional field has changed significantly over the years.
